[ This scene is not an unusual one at first glance, at least not unusual for two people sharing a private moment. But this isn't one of those private moments, especially not when broadcasted in front of an entire peanut-gallery of citizens.

One red-haired [livejournal.com profile] turnedyesterday sits perched, or rather, pinning down one [livejournal.com profile] fatespoken to his bed, fangs bared in an expression that could mimic a wolf about to chomp down on its prey.

Amory, on the other hand, appears completely dead-pan. Indifferent. Bored even. There was shock at the surprise of being forced down and pinned, quickly muffled, but the actual intimidation by very sharp, large teeth? Kind of got old for him.

... If they were actually in his neck, it'd be a different story. ]

Fine. I was wrong. Definitely not Elisa. [ Dry. ] Feral was never the right adjective for her.

[ Said red-haired vampire backs off slightly, looking mildly annoyed and incredibly bewildered at his lack of response. Her fangs retract as she de-tenses; at least she recognizes the other person present. It's a decidedly small comfort. ]

I coulda just ripped your throat and that's all you gotta say? This kinda thing happen to you a lot?

All threats and intimidation, never any action. [ Let's not count that time with Frankie. Or him. He flexes his hands backwards, rolling his eyes back to focus on the ceiling. ] Yeah, happens to me a lot.

Yeah, you prefer if I did bite?

[ She huffs slightly, crossing her arms -- and tugging on the chain dangling from a shackle on one wrist as she does so. ]

Why not? [ A smirk tugs at his lips, as he tests the strength of their bondage. Unbreakable, of course. ] Unless you have rabies like that other asshole.

[ Completely flat. ] Just your garden variety undeath, thanks.

[ And then she pauses, glancing around the room. The alarmingly normal room.]

Uh. Speakin' of, what time is it?

[ The bit about the apartment gets little acknowledgment, besides a slight frown. ]

[ A quick side glance to the clop on his beside table reads 4:45--- a time that's soon to usher in a sunrise in around an hour and half. Well, shit. ] Time for us to figure something out before you set my apartment on fire.

Yeah? Think we can manage it like this?

[ And that she punctuates with a more deliberate tug at the cuff. ]

What choice do we have? [ And there's an equally hard tug back at that, then a sigh to punctuate the banality of it all. ]

[ Fine then, Amory. Jessica gets straight to her feet with little regard for their bonds; at least she decided against a brief burst of vampire speed. ]

Guess we better get to work, then. Wouldn't want anything happening to your apartment.

You're right. Can't call ServPro around here.
