[It doesn't take Jessica long to get to the fountain; really, it takes more time for her to get ready, and she doesn't go through too much effort. Nothing special for you, Amory, just the standard ritual of an insecure teenage girl who was never allowed to dress up making sure her until-recently-neglected vanity is satisfied.

[ Amory Felix expected the vampire to arrive quickly, if only because she is a vampire and certain attributes prove to be commonalities across universes. Not that that making her wait was of any concern to Amory Felix who, bloated on pride, views the word at his beck and call. If she was early, Jessica would have to wait.

Luckily, they manage to nearly intersect each other, Amory arriving five minutes after her. He enters the scene distinctly lucid, free from the reigns of alcohol, and eager to prove his power over the common fold. ]

[She hasn't been waiting quite long enough to be annoyed; she did plan to arrive first, after all. As he nears, she raises her gaze to watch him approach, noting how he's carrying himself. She's caught on to the theme of the day -- even if she hadn't, his behavior on the Network was such that she wouldn't be too surprised at his demeanor either way.

When he speaks, she quirks a brow at him, an amused, slightly lopsided smirk on her face.]
