World peace and an end to all suffering?
Impossible.
Call me a pessimistic, but unless there's a way to change the nature of mankind, we're looking at an impossibility here. We are all too varied in our motivations, stacking our priorities in different order- advantage before kindness, pride before humility, self before others.
But say that the good outweighed the bad, since there will be the generous, the kindhearted, the pacifistic- as there always have been. Or say that mankind could shed their differences for a common good. That would fix everything, wouldn't it?
No.
Not everyone can put aside there differences. Not everyone can be kind. It's a nice idea, but think of how many people are in your world, the varying personalities of just the friends you know-
It just takes a few people and a few wrong actions to fuck---
